Per section 4.1.3 of the USG's general Student Affairs policy, "A student whose class schedule would otherwise prevent him or her from voting will be permitted an excused absence for the interval reasonably required for voting."
If you plan to vote in-person on election day, plan a two-hour block of time when the polls are open to go vote. If you cannot find a block of time that does not conflict with your classes, inform the professor(s) of the class(es) you will be missing that you will be absent in order to vote. You will be granted an excused absence. If you are not granted one, contact the chair of the department.
